These site avatars represent a puzzle thrilled middle class family we call the Jigetisers. We try to give a kind of identification for the Jigetiser target groups (from preschoolers to grandparents) to give you a more personal experience surfing this site. If you study the family members you'll find an open-minded attitude, unconventional behavior and a sense of humor. This is the starting base for your amusement ;-).

Jane (Mom)
Jane Jigetiser is a 36 years old woman, married with Jonathan and mother of Justin and Jessica. In the morning she works half-time as a bookseller, in the afternoon she is mother with body and soul. She loves excursions with her kids. So, if the weather is fine, the three take long walks, have a picnic or visit the zoo. Jane loves reading, cooking and cozy evenings with her friends. They laugh and talk a lot, watch DVD or do computer jigsaw puzzles. Her fervor are beautiful vacations. "I'm still dreaming of african sunsets during a trip through the Sahara desert, visiting the Asian mosques and the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul", she told us at her birthday party. So, she's playing vacation puzzles most and likes to give away these as birthday present or to say thank you to a friend.
Jonathan (Dad)
Jonathan Jigetiser is a 39 years old man. He works as an IT freelancer and is always in a hurry. "I work as IT freelancer in major projects, so there's not much leisure left. In my free time I want to relax, put my jeans on and ride my motor-bike", Jonathan told us between two phone calls. When there's time left he's on a trip with Justin to watch graffitis, because both like graffitis very much. His newest hobby is to create new computer jigsaw puzzles, because meanwhile he is an enthusiastic puzzle fan (thanks to his wife). He already developed a software to transform images into computer jigsaw puzzles and now he steadily creates new puzzle packages. He uses these as individual presents for friends and business partners. Once he presented a business partner a computer jigsaw puzzle which showed her company building at a company jubilee. His business partner was very amused about it and business affairs will grow on.
Justin
Justin Jigetiser is a six years old boy. He visits the first class at elementary school. You may say, he's a very popular boy, because he's a kind of womanizer, invited to every birthday party. Although he has a lot of fun at school his real inspiration is his father Jonathan. To spend time with him he often cancels appointments with his friends. They understand this because they all like his father's coolness, too. Justin likes to do graffitis and Jonathan fully supports this. "Last year dad helped me to do the first on my own. Unfortunately, I'm not as good in spraying as the guys whose art we can have a look at during our trips", told us Justin in the graffiti shop last week. If possible they're on a trip to the places with the newest creations by the pros. Justin is very keen on Sci-Fi films, too. Although only six years old he knows everything about Dad's DVD collection, from classics to new publications.
Jessica
Jessica Jigetiser is a four years old girl. In the morning she visits a playschool, in the afternoon she spends her time with mom and brother Justin. She loves animals and so she often plays with the families two labrador retrievers Jill and Jason. Sometimes she's with her grandma Josephine at the animals rights group, because Jessica wants to help animals. She tries to save even spiders and earthworms, if somebody at home wants to kill them. Once Justin precipitated a family crisis, when he caught a frog. Jessica was furious about that and threatened a hunger strike, inspired by a newsflash the week before about some animal welfare activists trying to protect a forest. A family meeting solved the problem then.
Josephine (Grandma)
Josephine Jigetiser is a 59 years old woman, married with James and mother of two adult daughters, Jane and Jodi. In her youth she worked as a secretary but after the birth of her two daughters she became a housewife. After the pet of the family left the house, she felt bored and searched for a new challenge. Now she works honorary at an animal rights group and tries to understand all this difficult computer stuff she's to work with. "Computers are very important in life and I want my grandchildren to be clever at this", she told us. Josephine loves her grandchildren very much and often presents them kids edutainment puzzles to extend their computer knowledge. Being very conservative, she is often a little anxious about Jody, her younger daughter, being Single with 25. Due to her conservatism James, her husband, often pokes fun at her.
James (Grandpa)
James Jigetiser is a 65 years old man, married with Josephine and father of Jane and Jodi. He worked at university as a literature prof. A short time ago he retired but can't abstain completely from his job. So he often visits the university and talk to former collegues and students. Since his studies he does genealogy, because he is very fascinated of the past. This is one of the reasons, why he worked as Literature prof. His lectures were mostly focussed on old Literature. "I'm very fascinated about old poems, because they tell a lot about former times and the persons who lived in. My favorite poet is the German Johann-Wolfgang von Goethe, who was a very interesting man and wrote a beautiful poem about Italy" he told us at the university campus. To broaden his literature horizon, in his freetime he always reads modern and humoristic literature.
Jody (Aunt)
Jody Jigetiser is a 25 years old woman, daughter of James and Josephine and sister of Jane. She studies fashion design and wants to live in Paris, when she has finished her apprenticeship. Jody loves the newest trends and knows a lot of people. Like her sister Jane she is keen on travelling and at least two weekends a month on trips to interesting cities. "I'm always on the run, because I fear to miss something interesting in life. At the weekend I go with a friend on a Rome visit", she told us at the airport. She is very romantic and dreams of candlelight dinners, but is still looking for a boyfriend.
Jill (Black Labrador Retriever) and Jason (Yellow Labrador Retriever)
Jill is a 5 years old dog lady and lives with Josephine and James. She likes to sit by the firesite when James is studying new books or Josephine plays piano. Although, she frolics with the kids from time to time, she likes dormacy most.
Jason is a 2 years old dog and lives with Jane, Jonathan, Justin and Jessica. He's Jessicas best friend. He misses no walkaway, likes to hunt cats in the neighborhood and can't live without deep-dish pizza.
